Extra Data Points

Families depend on the internet a lot more than they did a decade ago, and older houses often don’t have enough data points to support the requirements of growing families and their devices. Our team can install additional data points throughout your home to cater to the many different devices, consoles and computers that your family requires.

A data point is essentially just a just an Ethernet cable extender that runs behind your wall – connecting a device into one can result in faster internet speeds than Wi-Fi provides. We usually recommend having at least one data point in each of your main living areas as well as your kitchen and home office. If your home has multiple levels then you will want to have at least one data point on each level as well.

Extra TV Points

Coastal Hi-Fi & Communications will install as many additional outlets as you require anywhere in your home. We use quality digital ready RG6 cable which reduces interference and produces excellent picture quality. We can also re-run an old outlet that may have dated or has inferior cable.

Extra Phone Points

Like data points, adding in additional phone points throughout your home can help growing families and their communication requirements. It is common for older homes to require a ‘communications upgrade’ consisting of additional phone, television and data points because they were built during a time when the average family shared a single computer and phone.
